PRA AHT Research Update (June 2010)

"The DNA samples have been sent off to the genotyping centre in France and we are waiting to hear when we can expect the data. I am very hopeful that the genotyping data will reveal the position of the mutation and that we will be in a good position to offer a test soon."

GSA Memberships (January 2010)

Could members please check their standing orders to make sure they are correct - UK Single £10 and UK Joint £12 as there still seem to be some coming through with the incorrect amount on them even though the membership fees changed quite a number of years ago. Unless the correct amount is received no AGM paperwork or Yearbooks will be sent out.

Eye Testing & Microchipping (January 2010)

Eye testing and microchipping will be available at the GSA Championship Show on the 10th April 2010. Eye panelist is John Goodyear. All dogs presenting for testing must have a microchip or tattoo. Microchipping is available on the day and will cost approximately £15 per dog. BVA fees have increased and the cost per dog is £29 (usually £45).

GSA Trophies - (January 2010)

GSA Membership Details - (January 2010)

Please could GSA Members check their entry in the GSA Year Book 2008. Please notify the GSA of any changes to your name, address, telephone number. Also please let the GSA know if you have acquired an Affix. This will ensure your updated details will be included in the next publication of the GSA Year Book. These changes need to be notified to the GSA by the 8th January 2010.

GSA AGM 2010 - (January 2010)

The GSA AGM 2010 will be held on Sunday 18th April 2010 at Stoneleigh Village Hall, Stoneleigh, 10.30 for 11.00 am. Items for inclusion on the Agenda, duly proposed and seconded by fully paid up members of the GSA, must reach the Secretary by Saturday 13th February 2010 (not postmark). The GSA Open Show 2010 will be held on Saturday 6th February 2010 at Bearley Village Hall. Schedules have been sent to all GSA Members. Judge Mrs L Bain (Angarak).
